Trail Description

The access is somewhat obscure with a bit of road riding, but the snowmobile route up to Cornucopia Peak and Schneider Cabin is a fun adventure. Upon arrival in the high country, you'll find challenges and open riding in an area with awesome snowfall and expansive views. We show two routes on our EnterActive map on how to get there, but there is another route via Summit Point that isn't featured currently and is known to be dangerous because of the drifting, hourglass nature of the approach. Another challenge is the weirdly drawn wilderness boundary upon arriving at the bench near Schneider Cabin.

Schneider Cabin is a publicly owned old miners cabin in an awesome locale. Last time we checked, there were no wood stoves or wood, but it does provide an interesting shelter that should be open if you get in trouble.
