Trail Description

While the initial Fox Hill Climb is steep, the remaining mileage is fairly gradually and is mostly shaded with trees along FS Road 3120. Multiple agencies and businesses maintain radio and other communication towers at this location due to the high vantage point. It also provides a great view of the entire Grande Ronde Valley, looking east towards Mt. Harris and the Wallowas.

Depending on the snow year, this can be access in the later part of Spring. During bad snow years, access could be earlier in the year.
