This is a very scenic ride (except for the logging carnage section), over and under the rocky cliffs of Gasset Bluff. The section shown here is mostly singletrack on the Hancock Forest Land. It is open to hiking and mountain biking for the public. Highlights include nice views of the Grande Ronde Valley and the ride by a hang glider launch ramp. There are a few short climbs but otherwise it is mostly an enduro-style downhill. The trail is in and out of dense to sparsely treed forest with some nice rock features occasionally.
The top end is accessed off the Little Indian Singletrack and Boswell ATV trail. The very end shown here crosses a short stretch of private land where a gate has recently gone up at the 62 Road on Mt. Harris. This can be avoided by turning off on a side road to stay on Hancock land and cut over to the 5205 road.
