This trail is featured for posterity or maybe in hopes that someday it can be rejuvenated and something can come of it. For now, it isn't really worth riding but might be a marginally interesting short hike if you happen to be at Indian Rock and want to do something active.
Not to be confused with Trail 1859a, which starts back up downstream a ways from where this leaves off, this trail is 1859 and probably goes by the name Five Points Trail but here I'll just call it Herron Ridge because it only terminates at Five Points. Unfortunately the old trail on the map that follows Five Points Creek has been obliterated by the elements. We did connect the this trail and 1859a but only after a massive bushwack and creek walk that I hope to never replicate again. What is shown here is the halfway decent section of trail that exists down Herron Ridge and then along the Mount Emily Creek before it's lights out when you reach the confluence with Five Points Creek.
A short ways down Skyline Road north of the Indian Rock overlook there is a road that takes off west. You can follow that road for a ways down Herron Ridge until you eventually get to a trail sign where you dive off the ridge to the south and begin some singletrack. The old trail is a fairly good surface, it has just become overgrown with some small trees and weeds so it needs some work especially as it sidehills above the creek. That is about all I have to say about this mundane, dilapidated trail.
