Trail Description

Hangover is a nasty good mountain bike ride that is a signature trail in Sedona, Arizona. The Cow Pies trail leads you up to some slick rock where the fun begins on the official Hangover Trail. The route is super dangerous fun from there on. It crests at an awesome flat saddle with a great panorama before taking you along the cliff edge in and out of contours in the rock. Several high rocks intrude on the trail giving you just enough room to fit your handlebars around while leaning your bike out over the cliff. Later a really steep downhill takes you perilously down some bumpy slickrock before wrapping back around the bluff to finish off the loop.

This loop is ridden counter clockwise. Start the ride at the Schnebly Hill Trailhead and ride up the road or singletrack along the creek. Pick up the Cow Pies Trail from the road to take you up to Hangover.
