Identified as a technically difficult trail, this loop is an add on to Sidewinder Trail and makes some good use of rugged terrain to provide a loop above an adjacent mesa. The most technical features are very tight switchbacks right away and then a couple pinch-points with exposure on the other side of the canyon. The rest of the trail isn't too difficult technically, and offers a steady climb and descent with overly tight corners. Like most of the trails in this Santa Clara system, you end up with some great panoramic views for most of the ride. The trail is shown here in clockwise direction, but it is probably just as good either way.
