Trail Description

This trail is short, but has promise. The upper half of the trail needs a lot of work to be rideable, and it works better as a downhill trail, potentially to finish off a ride on the trails on the ridge.

The trail starts to disappear near the top.
Trailhead at the lower end, with primitive camping.
The lower trailhead is just past this Hells Canyon Sign. Note: this picture is looking back down the road from the trailhead. From Cayuse Flat, the ridge below can be seen where the gravel road to Buck Point and Hat Point tops out. The Wallowa Mountains are to the distance (looking west).
Still some good sections on the upper end. There is a corral and structure at the top on Cayuse Flat
